Does that mean you guys will miss Cindy Sheehan at noon?
Nope. I think the meeting won't last longer than an hour and Faith Community Church is right on the edge of downtown, so committee members who would like to be at the anti-war rally can do so. In fact, I think Fahiym will be there with petitions.
I'll drop off the [insert pathetically small number here] signatures I have gotten at the BCC on Saturday if I don't have a chance to get them to you beforehand.

Cindy Cindy, she's our girl. I'm a slug but she's a squirrel. Isn't spoken word def and hype? Bomblike too !!
Anyway, I was at the truck stop the other day talkin' to Cleetus, Rayshawn, Kim Lo, Abdulla, Kaitlin, Jose, Running Beaver, Bharat, Ari and Pauley. They were all talkin' about something they'd read....something about states raising their minimum wages above sadistic levels and subsequently experiencing better small business and employment trends than other states. I amost had an episode. Then, get this! The Fiscal Policy Institute and others have determined, through studies, that states with minimum wages above, yuck, $5.15/hr saw growth in the number of small businesses and small business employees contrary to what the contrarians (obviously influenced by Satan) predicted. Here's the topper. Following the minimum wage increases in '96 and '97, our great nation celebrated low inflation, lower unemployment, declining poverty rates and robust growth. Now that's God blessing the USA. After hearing this, I almost passed out and needed a medically prescribed stimulant. After listening to all of the negative comments about raising the minimum wage to $9.36/hr, I'd almost bought into that propaganda. I've forgiven the critics though. I believe in grace and it takes all kinds to make a world. There's a place for those wackos too.
